Background
I am a visual artist currently working on a PhD in collaboration in visual art at the University of Ulster.
Formerly worked for the Community Arts forum in Belfast for 5 years.
Additionally work on an ongoing basis on personal and freelance art projects. Recent projects have included the Cardboard Cities project with the Belfast Children’s Festival/Young at Art.
Graduated with a degree in Fine Art from UU in 2003.
Professional Statement
My personal artwork is an investigation of play, imagination and the overlooked.
Non traditional venues, audiences and ways of work are of particular interest to me. Work with or for children has been a recurring interest, as has the focus of my current research - collaborative working in visual arts.
