National Deaf Children’s Society - Call Out

NDCS are looking to recruit deaf or deaf friendly artists / arts practitioners from across Northern Ireland to help make a big difference to the lives of deaf children and young people.

As part of a project funded by Arts Council Northern Ireland; NDCS will be providing bespoke training to mainstream arts providers. The training is designed to support providers to make their mainstream activities deaf friendly.
You must have experience delivering arts activities (in any medium) to children and young people. You must be an excellent communicator, have a commitment to inclusion of deaf children in mainstream arts activities, be organised and demonstrate presentation skills.
You must be available to deliver training from 28 - 30 June. Hours will be sessional and will depend on the demands of the project and may include evenings, week days and weekend. You must be flexible to travel to venues across Northern Ireland. There may be further opportunities beyond the scope of this project.
