Guest Editor for Sept-Oct: Ann Donnelly

Practice.ie is delighted to announce artist Ann Donnelly as our Guest Editor for September-October 2012.

During her guest editorship, Ann will be focusing on long-term artist residencies - particularly involving children and young people.

She is hoping to hear from artists, venues, organisations and young people who have experience of this kind of project.

Ann Donnelly is an artist working mainly with video and photography, often in response to a sense of place. She has been an artist with the Kids’ Own virtual residency programme since 2009 and recently received an ACES award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to support and develop her work. In both solo practice and collaborative projects she continues to explore themes of being and belonging and her work has been exhibited internationally. Donnelly is currently artist-in-residence at Artspace on the Oxford Island National Nature Reserve.
