Richard Siegesmund, edited Arts-Based Research in Education: Foundations for Practice, with Melissa Cahnmann-Taylor, published by Routledge 2012. Siegesmund has a particular interest in working across academic disciplines including art and design education and qualitative social science research.


Muruska Svasek, trained as a fine artist before becoming an anthropologist. She is the author of Emotions and Human Mobility: Ethnographies of Movement (Routledge 2012). Svasek led the HERA-funded, cross European, interdisciplinary research project Creativity and Innovation in a World of Movement


Alice Feldman has evolved research-led practices focusing on the intersections of multiple marginalities, otherness and place, ‘pedagogical bricolage’ as a form of research-innovated teaching, and cross-sector engagements around anti-racism, interculturalism and integration work.
