Background

Michael is a Classical Animation graduate of Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada. After eighteen years of steady work in the Canadian Television Industry Michael has worked in all stages of animation production from Dialogue Editing to Directing several children`s TV series such as Little Bear, Franklin and Braceface.


Before leaving Canada to live in Northern Ireland, Michael directed a prime-time series for the CBC television network called `Chilly Beach`. In Northern Ireland, Michael has contributed to the development and success of locally produced TV series `Lifeboat Luke` as director of animation and contributed to the 15 Second Film Festival.


He is part-time self employed as an Artist facilitator of Children`s Animation, Film and video workshops for School Boards, Borough Councils, Special Needs and Youth organizations.


Michael is also Part-time IT staff at the University of Ulster for the Design for Interaction and Animation three days a week and teaches Life Drawing on Thursday evenings to the general public.
