The Ark Programme: Awakening Curiosity

The Ark have announced their new upcoming season of events. To coincide with Dublin’s status as City of Science 2012, The Ark are integrating science into an interactive exhibition for children aged 2-12. This will include a facilitated creative space, a shoal of 150 recycled metal fish, floating nests built with materials scavenged from the city, a food-chain game, tactile felt lichen, a laser snail trail and a chance to create a new species of butterfly.

There will also be events held over the coming months to coincide with this exhibition. The exhibition is open to schools for the month of May, and will be open to the public from June 23rd until August 6th.
