IACI (Integration of All Children of Ireland) have called for applications for the 2012 Multicultural Young People’s Awards (MYPAs). The award aims to recognize the hard work of young people whose dedication is making strides in integration and cultural awareness initiatives which benefits both newer and more established communities in Irish society, via active participation, planning, implementation, evaluation, & continuation etc.
The categories for the awards are Art & Wood Work, Sports, Science, Health Awareness & The Environment. Music/Social Studies, Community & Volunteerism, Cultural Awareness and Special Judge’s Award.
Anyone can put forward nominations for individual MYPAs. For application forms click here.
