Day 13 on the 7th/

Wednesday was market day, wow this term is really flying by. I once again had a big group, i had one girl who had made puppets last week and so became my assistant as it where. The other children would ask her advice, and if any of the children had to leave the session when they came back she would help them get up to speed. All the puppets where first made and then we set about to make the stalls, there was a ribbon stall, a cafe, a toy shop,a fish shop that specialised in nemo`s, a gewerlery shop and a food stand.

The children went around there stalls trying to sell there wares, unfortunately the child who was doing the filming pointed the camera at the table so there was no footage but two of the children did come back after lunch and i will have the video up soon.We showed of our stalls on ait eile, i really hope i can get a projector for ait eile as i really think it would make a difference.

One of the girls who had to leave couldnt come back in so i went down on to the ward to work with her after lunch she absolutely loved making puppets, after she made the first one we made a little video but she wasent comfortable using her voice so i voiced it, she then went on to make 5 puppets in total and a stall, when there where more puppets she was alot happier talking trough one puppet as we could have a conversation. She wants to have a job like mine when she grows up. After the third puppet i left her some materials and went to see a girl in isolation, she was very tired and so her mom and myself made her a puppet, i only stayed about ten minutes as didnt want to wear her out. I went back to check on the girl who when i got back was half way through puppet number four and i worked with her for another half an hour. I honnestly think she could make and play with puppets all day, a definate puppeteer in the making i would say.
