We decided that for the next four weeks we would each have an element. My Element today was Earth. We took a different meaning this week and made a planet earth but an alternative one.
Today we made lovely cup beaded puppets there where 8 puppets, 6 children, 1 parent and 1 work experience teacher. The beads made them very colourful. After we made the puppets the children made there alternative earth they each made a different country and with in the countries they put counties and towns. Such as happy town, rollercoaster land, water parks and lots more. One of the planets was also a monster.
We then took a series of pictures to make an animation out of our puppets. One of the children really got into playing with the puppets he had two and by the end the two puppets had both lost there head, he then started to bounce the heads around.
We then linked up with Anna who’s puppet was from Iceland and was very cold, then with Sligo, one of Helene’s children made a tooth fairy who looked around on earth for a tooth which was hiding under one of out puppets.
