Day 6 - the ideas go on

The 3D constructions are on the long-finger, as
when we went to make them individuals had forgotten what they were
about and the children were making whatever their neighbour was making.
Charlotte is also happy to delay them, but would like to see them
created at some stage. She suggested I make a more completed model to
remind the children of the ideas we discussed for them. We are also waiting on the children to collect imagery for the constructions.

During the day, i showed the children some new photographs and videos from my studio and we brainstormed some ideas. We returned to the idea of a visit to the shore and also discussed some more scientific ideas about water and sand experiments. This was very much in keeping with the ideas i brought to Charlotte last week. Althought they tie in with science and show similarities to how she conducts experiments in class, we have yet to agree on how we can proceed with them.

We also looked at using the windows again to create moving images, using shadow etc to create what i originally thought would be `weather play` - in keeping with some of the children`s former ideas. In conversation Charlotte suggested that we should loosen the theme, so we agreed to return to the broader theme of `change` for this session.
