Day 5 - Sharing Work
On day 5, I took the time to look through the work that had been made, to document it fully and then to exhibit it in the room, keeping my own `thinking wall` in place to give context. This room became a linked extension to the work on exhibit in the rest of the Gallery and reiterated that an idea and a body of work, while it is on exhibition, can spur new work and can have a life beyond itself. Also that ideas can be developed in tandem in many locations and manifest in varied ways. Visitors to the gallery were welcome into the room at all points during the week, but by the end of the week it was more formally a room for display. I stayed on on Saturday simply because I had enjoyed the residency so much and in doing so, had the opportunity to meet with Nico Browne and Martin Brunsden and participate in two workshops/performances they gave that day!
