Background
Julie Forrester trained as a sculptor at the Slade School of Art, London. Based in Cork she has been the architect of numerous collaborative art projects and has been awarded by Cork City Council, The Department of Education and Science and the Arts Council. She has been involved with Kidsown since 2000 where she worked on Multimedia Maps Residency with schools in Tyrone and Leitrim, followed by Trading Places Residency in 2003 and the Mysterious Eye book project in 2005. JF has been involved with Cork Arts initiatives including Backwater Artists Group and Art Trail.
