Image from the Early Years theatre show “Murmeln” – “marbles” by German theatre “Figurentheater Kumulus”.

This image shows one of the first moments of this simple and beautiful show for children from two to four: one by one, the marbles are set rolling- they roll in circles, first fast, then slower and slower, one clockwise and one anticlockwise, and then collide- and this is more then enough to captivate the small spectators attention- and inspired my daughters favourite toys for a while: a shallow bowl and some marbles.
