St Munchin`s other church

Description

There are two St Munchin`s churches, one on the Northside, at Thomondgate (home of the Sodacakes) and one on the King`s Island.
This church was built in 1827 on the site of the original church (circa 561) where Munchin is said to have made his curse and is believed to be buried. It was deconsecrated in the 1960s and is now the home of the Island Theatre Company.
