walkabout with Zipperman
We decided to take Zipperman as our guide on a walkabout of Killeely.
The day was a dense grey but dry. We found some sites where events had
obviously happened and we are developing these sites into our
storyline. I have uploaded an image showing Zipperman at the water`s edge, Zipperman
informs us that this is Tom`s (the groom) boat, and that you need to be
wary at this part of the river because the Banshee once visited Tom
here....it wasn`t until we got back and looked at our pictures that we
saw some startling evidence for Zipperman`s caution.....see pictures....
(Zipperman is the father of Boxing girl in our sodacake family tree, he is a stern father and worries about his family)
We found a magical place on the North shore of the Mighty Shannon...a section marked by
two growing arches made whole by their reflections in the water, we spent some time here listening and exploring the
atmosphere....Zipperman was our guide and he warned us about the
Banshee, we were not paying too much attention to him but when we got
back and looked at the pictures we saw the Banshee`s hand......
Next week we celebrate 4 birthdays in our small group! Time for the Sodacakes to get baking.
