    Duration: 2012-11-19 to 2012-12-12

Project Outline

The brief is to connect with the chosen school.  The theme preffered would be linked to the current exhibition in the Butler Gallery, the Artist lorraine Neeson, whose work deals with issues of light and dark and the distortion of that using photgraphic techniques.

The group that I was given while they will engage with art it is on a very in the now level. The school is a school for children with special needs many severe and profound so therfore superficial engagement may be all we can hope for.

the childrn love to do and the idea of a concept is not really necessary as they just ’ go fo the art’.

Trying to tie inot the light dark theme, we decided to work on fabric and palstic to make window hangings. In my minds eye I am interested in the play of light on and through the things we make.
