Creative Classrooms - Harold Boys National School, Dalkey

Project Outline
With Creative Classrooms in Harold Boys School we worked with a range of materials and techniques and processes to explore the theme of The Local Area and Local History. This gave us plenty of scope to take the workshops in different directions. We looked at recording information in different ways and creating artworks through different creative processes. So it worked out as follows:
Maps- memory through drawing, Viking journeys history/ imagination through painting, Boats observation through contruction in 3D, Advertising Posters for Viking Boats through group work in text and collage, Dalkey Main Street through observational drawing, photography and through to construction in 3D, Exhibition Visit look and respond, The Sea through imagination, experience memory and sensation through painting and through to video.
