`A Journey Through Dublin` with Quarryvale Media Group

Project Outline
This project saw the young people of Quarryvale multi-media group engage with a project through all stages of the creative process. The finished work would be an art piece appropriate for all ages to be displayed in the cafe of Quarryvale Youth Center.
The project started with brainstorming sessions discussing their concerns and how they could be expressed through various media.The group together decided on a mixed media collage of a portrait of Dublin. This art piece would explore the landmarks of the Clondalkin/Quarryvale area and of Dublin city. Various contemporary and graphic artists were discussed and many techniques were tried. Finalised the work comprised of a mixed media collage with photography displayed within the youth center.
