Project Outline


Password Emil is a live theatrical game adaptation of the classic novel, Emil and the Detectives by Erich Kaestner.


 Password Emil will involve a group of approximately ten children (age 10-12) working together in role as detectives to locate and catch a live electronically tagged thief in an enclosed outdoor setting using pervasive and interactive media. 


The project recived a bursary form the Arts Council in 2009 for initial research. It received an Arts In Context Award from Cork City Council in 2011 and a period of R and D with Physically Phisy Youth Theatre will begin in 2011.
