the first stage of the mailart project between Ballycrissan & Rathcabbin started yesterday. I had made two postcards, the maximum size AN POST allows: 30x40cm!
drawings were made on the postcards of things & places in Ballycrissan, leaving plenty of space for more drawings to be added during the mailart project [8 weeks].
note: the lady a the post office, says our postcard will have to travel to Ballinasloe, Athlone, down to Nenagh and then up to Borrisokane and then onto Rathcabbin! ballybrissane and rathcabbin just lie on either side of the Shannon. lets see how long it takes.
