Description

The two schools converged at portumna castle, the staff there had organised a historical quest for the students. Ruby and I decided that it would be a great opportunity to do some site specific work, and just to come together. We had material limitations, no paint please, markers or the like, (portumna castle is going through major renovation and have a beautifull oak floor) so drawing with scissors!!! The students drew shapes that responded to the castle and we interwove them using string. It was really great fun and a very beautiful temporary group sculpture.
