Workshop two
I felt it was important now to spend time exploring colour and painting technique before beginning paintings based on the drawings. So we began by looking at Kandinsky`s `Study of Colour` then created colour studies of our own. The task was to mix as many different colours as possible and covering the sheet completely with small squares of colour, to explore contrasting and complimentary colours next to each other and different textures. The class really applied themselves to the task and the results were beautiful.
