Week 3, St Edwards

The class began their paintings this week, based on the sound drawings from the first week. After recapping on all the colour theory from the previous week, they began by writing a list that would be their own personal guide for their particular painting. First they wrote how their drawing made them feel and what it made them think of. Next, if they thought, as a painting, whether it would have lots of colours or just a few, if the colours would be contrasting or complimentary, if they would be creating depth etc. The list was just helpful for starting off for some and for others it was refered to throughout working on the paintings.
