Background

B Des MA (National College of Art and Design). MA in Theatre Production (directing) University of Hull UK. Arts Worker and children`s chronicler for Wet Paint Arts Tribal Project. Member of Irish Museum of Modern Art`s Artist Panel from 1993-2003. Artist in the community for Common Ground 2002. Awarded Artist in Residencies by Ealaíona na Gaeltachta 2009 for Scoil Náisiúnta Inis Meáin; the Arts Council - St. Michael`s Youth Project; St Brigid`s National School, Finglas and Rutland Street Pre-school. Was a member of Helium Children’s Arts in Health Puppet Portal Panel. Received an Arts Council Bursary Award in 2013 for StoryLab Film research. A Founder and Director of Púca Puppets since 1997 for whom she has performed, directed, made, written and worked as a creative practitioner.

Professional Statement

My work combines the visual and theatre arts, with puppetry a specialty. I am a collaborative artist and enjoy the challenge and learning opportunities of working in different contexts with people of various experiences and ages.
