Project Outline

Flying Colours is an installation at Uillinn, West Cork Arts Centre’s new building, created by Alison Cronin in collaboration with twenty West Cork schools ranging from Innishannon to the east to Bere Island to the west. Each child made an individual colourful flying creature to be part of the final installation which flows up and down the staircases of the building, alongside the first exhibition, flooding the inbetween spaces of the new building with the colour, energy and creativity of children’s artwork, and showing what can be achieved when we work together.
