Project Outline
This project was part of the Fun with Glass arts + education programme, delivered by artists Marie Brett & craftsperson Gana Roberts in partnership with The West Cork Education Centre and Cork County Council.
Pupils explored tree stories, poems and the work of contemporary artists to develop ideas for their own glass and metal fused artworks.
The West Cork Arts Centre work with Marie Brett as mentor to early career West Cork artists, and Melanie Hann was the selected mentee for the November/December 2012 programme
