                 One of the Further Afield criteria is that the artist and teacher strive to find an area of common ground for exploration which is relevant to both professionals.


Miss Orr and I  agreed to revisit mapping to develop further the work wed done together during the pilot project Space and Place.


This time the six artist contact days are spread out between mid Sept to early Dec. and in order to link more directly with the P5 curriculum we will be incorporating air ( under the curriculum topic of ourselves) in along with mapping at the beginning and likewise water towards the end.


P5 had already been learning about the function of air and its transportation within the body and I wanted to focus upon the visual side of this.


We had a great discussion time note making on images put up classroom whiteboard in our search for good adjectives.
