    Created 2010-02-11 by Practice.ie Team

    Duration: 2010-02-11 to 2010-05-13

Project Outline

From February 2010, Practice.ie is delivering a brand new Online Talk Series, in which professionals from across a range of art forms within the arts sector, are delivering talks relating to their own practice or to issues that are relevant to contemporary practice with children and young people.

Kids` Own began the process with an online discussion that focused on the ways in which technology can support and extend the processes of engagement between and among artists, children and teachers.

Among the speakers for the series are:

Roisin Markham - Wexford-based artist and Director of CreativeDynamix

Helene Hugel - Director of newly formed arts in health company, Helium - & Siobhan Clancy - artist and puppeteer who worked on Helium`s new flagship project, the Puppet Portal Project in 2009.

Ann Henderson and Ann Donnelly - Northern Ireland-based artists, currently engaged on the Further Afield project - a residency programme that is taking place through online technology as a tool for communication and creative exchange.

Rionach Ni Neill - Dance practitioner and choreographer
